  I began my quest for computer repair by going to BestBuy to see how much it would cost just to have my computer fan replaced. They gave me a quote of $60 dollars. The next day I checked the web to see if I could find a computer repair close to my home and affordable. I ran across west side and decided to give him a shot and also I wanted to help in the community. I took both of my laptops to Westside and told him that I needed a diagnostic on one computer and a new screen for the other (small) laptop. After multiple attempts, $140 dollars and two weeks later, Westside never was able to resolve either issue and I was without two laptops not working properly and out $160.00 dollars. Do yourself a favor, spend the money and take your computers to a professional. If you just this service, make him show you receipts for parts and what he is actually charging you for labor. Try not to deal with him in "cash only." That would be a mistake. Bernie seems to be a nice person and a good family man, just make him work for his money. No short cuts.
