  Owner is honest and fair. He's a straight shooter. Much better place to buy or sell precious metals than the shop across the river that advertises on TV.

  Just sold some of wife's unused jewelry there. Although I wasn't exactly greeted with smiles and a song, they weren't rude at all (although one of the female employees stared through me...kind of off-putting, but in that business, I'm sure they have to quickly size up everyone who comes in as a potential robbery threat). They were just very matter-of-fact, and to be honest, I wasn't really there for a bunch of conversation anyway. Most important thing: I got a good price for what I brought in. Another note: they have A LOT of very interesting (cool or creepy? you decide) WWII-era military stuff - allied forces and Nazi stuff.
