  We bought a Sterns and Foster King Size mattress and boxspring from this store almost a month ago. This was around Feb 10, 2018 and today is March 6, 2018. On the day of delivery , a box spring was delivered , part of the set was sent with a big rip in the box spring. We would not accept the ripped box spring. We called the sales person at the store .( I will not put the name out there because this is not about the sales person, this is about the management of Mattress 1 on Old St Augustine Road and how dishonest they are). We were replacing the just purchased Sterns and Foster with a new Sterns and Foster so we had a perfectly good box spring already on our bed. We asked the sales person if instead of waiting for the truck to go back to Orlando and come back the following week with a complete bed set, could we just deduct the cost of the box spring $300.00 from the cost of the complete set and get our mattress top that day. She said "yes" and the refund would be added back to our charge card. We have called several times about this as we have not received the $300.00 refund to date. What keeps a person buying from the same car dealership? Customer service and fair treatment of customers! Sorry to say... you will not get that here! The salespeople in the store were very helpful but if you must deal with the store management for any reason at all, you will not be so fortunate. I'd advise the management staff to invest in some customer service training real soon!
