I ordered back in August, and while 6 months later I'm still (mostly) satisfied with all the furniture purchased, the delivery ended up being so expensive it negated the reason I shopped here in the first place. I purchased a couch, dining set, and coffee table set, and was quoted $90 for a 3rd floor delivery. I made sure to specify this also includes assembly to which the salesman told me it included legs on the furniture. Okay, fine, I didn't order any shelving or bedding, tables and chairs literally only have legs, right? The delivery men carry the flat packed table up the stairs and leave it in the dining room - in the box. They clarify that only couches get the little feet put on them and that installation is extra, double, in fact, for this box that is too heavy to move and needs some sort of industrial box cutter to even open. So I'm already out $90 and they're ready to leave for their next job unless I pay an additional $100 for assembly. So someone is lying - either the salesman when he defined what furniture legs are, or the delivery men are scamming me. Regardless it's too hot and we're too tired from moving all day to bother arguing so I pay it. The quality of the furniture is what you'd expect for the price, but skip the liquid protection package. It either wasn't done or is also a scam. While the pieces came bagged supposedly drying from the coating, we've tested time and time again in various areas with water, and it absorbs like a sponge. Nothing beads up on top, it's unusually absorbent and was another additional fee. So for the $300 more between these fees I may as well of went to Rooms-To-Go and bought it. Either way, being extorted during the delivery process is unacceptable and I would not go back.
